Privacy Policy

Last updated: March 2026

edinacronyms.com is a humor website about Minnesota town names. We collect very little data, and here’s what we do with it.

What we collect when you submit a town

When you use the submission form, we collect the town name, your proposed acronym, any optional commentary, and your email address. We store this in a database so we can review submissions. Your email is only used if we want to credit you or follow up about your submission. We won’t add you to any mailing list, sell your email, or share it with anyone.

Cloudflare Turnstile

We use Cloudflare Turnstile on the submission form to verify you’re a human. Turnstile is a privacy-focused alternative to traditional CAPTCHAs. It may collect limited technical data like your IP address and browser information. This data is processed by Cloudflare under their privacy policy.

Analytics and hosting

This site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may collect standard web server logs including IP addresses, browser type, and pages visited. We don’t run any additional analytics, tracking scripts, or advertising.

Cookies

We don’t set any cookies. Cloudflare may set cookies necessary for security and performance.

Your data

If you’d like your submission or email removed from our database, email us and we’ll take care of it.

Changes

If we change this policy, we’ll update the date at the top. Given that this is a website about making fun of suburbs, changes are unlikely to be dramatic.
